While creating these miniature geological monoliths, over and over I pictured the primordial planet long before humans where natural volatile forces impacted temperatures from extremely hot to cold. Crystal Gardens sprung up in deep pockets and caves all over the earth.

As a visual artist the medium is becoming less important. The process is always evolving. The inspiration stems from my curiosity and simple awe of natural forces which render basic materials into dimensional objects.
